ARDWAN DECO
Ardwan Deco was created from the French punch letters in 1874 under the supervision of Professor Julius Euting. The font represents the evolution of the Mandaic script and captures its technical aspects. Ardwan Deco celebrates the beauty that emerged from Euting's technical failures by focusing on the decorative handwritten elements of Euting's punches and transforming them into contemporary design. While Ardwan Punch concentrated on the technical characteristics of Euting's work, Ardwan Deco highlighted the decorative handwritten additions. Together, these fonts offer a nuanced exploration of the history and aesthetics of Mandaic punch letters of the 19th century.
